Great use of comic medium by communicating stories without any words --- well-paneled storyboard, amazingly-expressive dinosaurs. I wish I can give a separate rating for the never-before-collected, third story in this omnibus (The Journey) because it deserves 4 stars.

Imprescindible para amantes de los dinosaurios. Sin una sola palabra, sin una sola onomatopeya, Ricardo Delgado consigue transmitir sensaciones y expresiones cuasi-humanas a los dinosaurios. Me quedo con Tribal Warfare.

Nothing but violence and death between dinosaurs. I like how bright colors contrast the gore. Could have been shorter, but still a quick read.

Wow... not sure if this will make sense, but this book was like the Battle of Hastings in the Land Before Time, written like if Owly were in the Bayeux Tapestry. That's perfectly clear, right? Even without words, this took a little bit of time to read- my brain had to work even harder to figure out what was going on, who was whom, and it was a real adjustment to read a comic about dinosaurs that weren't anthropomorphized. The art was stunning, really, and each page had a wealth of detail to take in. While I'm not into dinosaurs or the circle of life, I found myself marveling at this book. I could see it being really appealing to reluctant male readers, maybe of the middle school age. There's definitely some fights and general carnivory (yep, that's a word now- car NIV a ree), but I think they'd love it.

LOVE IT! Such a gripping story, told without even a single word! I could almost hear the dinosaurs when they roared, feel the love between mother and baby, feel the terror of a trapped dino.... AMAZING!

So we've got a bunch of stories about dinosaurs here. They're dialog-free, which makes sense given the characters, but there's a rather large amount of anthropomorphism in most of the narratives, which I found rather distracting. The only story which is largely free of this is also the least complex or interesting over all, and has weaker art than the others: simpler line-work, and much less intricate colouring.
This was OK, but I'd hoped for more.
