A truly fantastic and, dare I say, revolutionary book.
The copy I read was from the library but this is a book that I would love to own and return to over and over again. The research done for this book is incredible and the content is so rich.
This should be required reading for everyone.
I was especially please by how this book, while written by a white woman, never leaves anyone behind. It is continuously inclusive of people of different abilities, classes, skin colours, gender identities, etc.
The few nitpicky things that I didn't like were just down to editing. Like some expressions being overused or strange phrasing. That's my one and only qualm. Everything else was truly excellent.
I would recommend this book to everyone and anyone.

Cried reading the airplane experience because it’s facts. Also because if I was seated on a plane next to Aubrey Gordon it would be our meet-cute and the best flight of my life.

Great concept for a book. I was expecting it to be a memoir but it was very fact driven. I prefer the podcast Maintenance Phase which is co-hosted by this author and talks about a lot of the topics covered in the book but in a casual more humorous way. Overall still happy I read it but prefer the podcast.
