So I'm obsessed with the Threshold series and have read the other books multiple times but have stayed away from this one because it's the odd one out. I guess I can kind of see how it connects the others, but I don't know if there's a bigger implication with the story in this one or if it's really just Clines worldbuilding. Not terrible, but would've loved more callbacks.

I'm still not entirely certain why this book is considered to be in the Threshold series. I guess there is that one thing but it was such a minor plot point that it barely counts. Dead Moon feels more like a straight-up zombie novel albeit with a great twist on the typical zombie narrative. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it, I do love me some zombies, and thought the set-up of using the Moon as a giant burial ground because we ran out of space on Earth was pretty genius.

Canot help but keep reading his books. The villain seems to always let me down somehow... I do love the idea of colonising the moon!

I really liked the story. One of my favorite narrators, so that had a lot to do with it. I don't consider it part of any series. It was an enjoyable stand alone.

Loved the first 2 books. I grabbed this one without realizing it's just another zombie story. Nope. Not a zombie fan.
