The Thinnest Air

Minka Kent

3.56 AVERAGE

I really liked this book! It was so hard for me to put down and so easy to be sucked right back in! I love that Kent told Meredith's view from the past as well as the present and get character was so well written, I was itching to figure out who done it!

Pretty anti-climactic ending, but good character development.

Good little summer, beach read. Goes quickly. Nice suspense (even if I had it figured out pretty close to the beginning).
Names to put onto a soap opera: Greer, Meredith, Ronan, Harris...and then poor Andrew who has to have a plain old everyday name. Musta been a friend of the author getting a payback for a favor to be mentioned in the book.

Engaging but fairly predictable. I had the central culprit narrowed down to two possibilities at the midway point, and it turned out that one of my guesses was accurate. There were a few twists and turns that I couldn't unravel quite as neatly, so that kept me reading. Overall, though, a very average mystery.

A quick suspenseful read and I’m never disappointed with a Minka Kent book.

This had potential but...

then it fell into predictability. And just in case you weren't familiar with the plot-type, rather than have any sort of suspenseful climax, the author tells you whodunit early and casually.

I don't regret having spent the few hours reading it, but I'm not on the lookout for others by the author.

4.5 Good suspense and twists. Felt like the ending was rushed, though.

A rich sister who lives in Utah goes missing, and her other sister flys in from nyc trying to find her. The twist is that there is no twist, and the ending is kind of hokey. Still an entertaining book

Everyone has something to say about books that are very “Gone Girl-esque” but I’m sure that GG wasn’t the first book of its kind. This book had me on edge wanting to read more and more. I wanted to make a decision about what happened early on but something kept leading me off my path. In the end, it’s not what I expected and the hero was a great surprise as well!

I called the ending. There was one moment where she had me doubting myself but it was still a good audio book to get me through a few hours of work
