not the best from this author but not bad either. i enjoy the flow of this story. i also loove the scenes between yukawa and kyohei, cute. narumi’s character is a bit flat. idky but the overall current n previous case is a bit unrealistic to me?? i cant pinpoint it right now as my mind is a bit jumbled (im having a fever

This is the weakest book as far as the mystery goes, but it is the strongest book in fleshing out Galileo as an actual person and not a science robot. I enjoyed his relationship with his young friend.

This book made me want to skip work and play hooky as I got to the end of it! Once again I hit the jackpot with an "escape from your long day at work" book. :) This book is number 6 in a series of 8 books about Detective Galileo, and I am upset that I can only read 3 of that series. None of the others have been translated into English. Darn!!

This book felt different than the other two that are translated into English. In the first one, you do know who the murderer is from the beginning. In the second one, it seems obvious who the murderer is while at the same time impossible. Here, I didn't feel like I really knew anything for certain. I was also a bit surprised to be following a young boy of about 12 from the opening pages. Was this some of sort of "lite" story? Of course, it all began to be clear why we were following story according to the young Kyohei. Of course, I was pleased to meet Mr. Yukawa, the physicist, right in the thick of things. I like following his dry analysis of everything.

Now to track down a book on my shelves that is worthy of following this one...
