The book would’ve earned five stars, but i’ve gotta say,  the way it was written was a little cringe. It sounds an awful lot like a corny AU about stray kids or any other band, with there being way too much fluff. 

But I absolutely love the way how it was a slow burn between sky and lia. However, i hate how evie and thomas didn’t have as much screentime as the boys and lia. They deserve the screentime too, in the name of the plot.

I love the last line. Bitin siya for me, pero ang powerful kasi.

One of the best books I’ve read this year, literally devoured it in one sitting, the pace was awesome, THE BOOKS CHAPTERS EXCUSE ME ??? 
Loved seeing my pop girlies as chapters, especially my favorite songs being mentioned !! 
Sky having It’s Nice to Have a friend in his top 3 songs from Lover def made me cry as it’s MY fav song ever !! 
Will definitely read it again and again with a playlist composed with the songs in the chapter name 💓💓

Accurate stream of consciousness after opening this book and seeing the prose at the beginning: This sounds familiar, really familiar. Wait. I KNOW THIS SONG! KPOP! I LOVE THIS SONG!

I loved how Levanter's lyrics split the book into three parts and liked seeing the story connected to those specific lyrics. I enjoyed the music/band theme but wish there had been better communication between the characters since the story would have flowed better.

3 stars overall. 5 stars for Levanter. Thank you Edelweiss for an ARC.
