This was my first book by this author, and definitely isn't my last, and fact I've already read the second book in the series....
This book followed Nolan and Reid through all 4 years of high school... The book is told from Nolan's point of view, and it was so nice to see her growth from an awkward freshman to a confident senior.... I liked the development of the relationship between these two... Although at times I really did not like Reid.... Although I thought he was a pretty typical teenage boy, especially a teenage boy who is a star athlete.... I also loved the fact that Nolan had such fantastic friends that always had her back, it was really nice to see that for a change....
After finishing this I immediately picked up the next book, so obviously I really enjoyed this and I did really enjoy the next book in the series as well, looking forward to reading some more from this Author .....

DNF at 15%. Nolan was just a push-over, and from the description I was expecting something else. The story itself was far too tedious, four years put into one book when it would have been better just being senior year. There really was no need for three books for this story.

3.5 Stars. They were definitely high schooler! Nolan and Reed were perfect when things were good but man the wishy washy not saying how you feel high school drama was real! I think most of us can relate to that but being older now it was frustrating...I’m hoping they get their shit together in book 2 because I’ve been rooting for them since freshman year 😊

This was a fantastic read. The characters are amazing. Reed is the athletic hero that loves a girl who has tomboyish tendencies. Nolan is a bad-ass who always wanted a boy but was always turned down. It is a back and forth game with these two. I love them both because how different they are but in that they were the perfect match for each.

I have a love-hate relationship towards Reed because he does all of this stupid things to hurt Nolan. This book is similar to Need by K.I. Lynn and Complicate Me by M. Robinson. I think that's why this book is so good. Overall, a lovely story about first love. Can't wait for their story to continue.

Loved it.

I don't know why I grabbed this, I do know it was recommended. But I have realized I just can't do teenage/high school books anymore.

I love my leads to be STRONG. Like Strong STRONG. While Nolan was at times, when she really needed to be she was so weak.

This gave me a huge amount of anxiety. Then after multiple F'ups it all came together with a barely there 'sorry'. She never gave him his What For at all. UGh what a waste of 12 hours.

What a great story! I'm not big on YA/coming of age stories but this one really worked. An awkward girl, the star football player and their crazy mixed up, star struck, constantly battled relationship, it all seemed to come together and really work. I'm glad I picked this one up.
