I have mixed feelings about this book. I was intrigued by the mystery, of course, but the characters were a bit disappointing. Isles wasn't featured very much, and she didn't seem buddy buddy with Rizzoli yet. Also, Rizzoli is so whiny throughout most of the story, that it took away from her toughness. I will continue with the series, though, in hopes that the characters improve as it goes along.

Less scandalous than its predecessor, but phenomenal character development, especially with Rizzoli and Moore. The new doctor was a strong character, and more insight into the serial killer added a layer of intrigue.
