2.5-3 stars? I liked the pacing and it’s not that I have a problem with being formulaic, but every hint was so handheld and emotion overexplained that it sort of felt like a children’s novel with sex scenes.
Ok so, it did take me a few chapters to really get into this one. It felt like we jumped from one thing to another so quickly. Which my anxiety appreciated, however we could have had more of a build up.
That being said, at about the halfway mark there was shift and side fly I was EXTREMELY invested in how this was gonna go down.
Yes, I could see the outcome of some things but the whiplash I had reading the twists and turns of the last 100 pages…I’m gonna need to see a chiropractor.

This was the first book to actually make me cry. I loved this book so much and I loved the characters. The only thing I am a little let down about is that these characters are apparently not the main focus in book 2 :( Please tell me if I am wrong!!

18+ To be honest, I almost DNF but I am so happy I didn't. The beginning of the book felt a bit rushed to me and I wasn't a huge fan of the writing style but I pushed because I could sense a great story there. I was not disappointed one bit. Fae and witches and love and adventure. So much wrapped up into one book, I'm so excited to read the next one.
