This Focus again on our main characters put this time lead mayor character is on a business trip for three days and how the two characters figure out how to be sort of without each other and seeing them come back together as a couple it was so sweet also seen some new business ideas coming into plants liquid soap and this reminded me of the travel kit what was talked about in volume one I think I do love their relationship after you get past the sniffing of the sweat you CR characters go through so much and see how they get their self through it and grow

The third book! Romance! Conversations! Soap! Scent! And more!

Slowly making my way through the boxset featuring the first 6 books. Well, slowly, I do hope that by the time this review comes up in April (it is now 10th Feb) I will have read all of them, haha.

Lots of cute moments with our couple, including her waiting for him to come home from the trip, going on a birthday trip for Natori, lots of sexy times (which were very well written and drawn). I love how these two just talk. Like adults. I know that sounds weird, but I read so many books/manga that it surprises me when people actually just have conversations about their relationship, about things that happened that may impede on things, or talking about comfort and consent. Such a blessing. I love that Asako is trying to get more comfortable with the relationship and all that comes with it, and also even tries to call Natori by his first name + also agrees with telling people about their relationship. Especially the part that she would love for him to call her his girlfriend was just fab. AWWW! I love these two so much and I cannot wait to see what the next step is, living together?

The sniffing is still a bit weird and that one request of his was a bit dubious, but I don’t mind it too much, it is actually funny as well. Plus, I can imagine having some scent of your girl/boyfriend, I know I am the same, but maybe stop at asking for an item of clothing? And not go as far as ask for her sweaty towels?

Loved that she had that moment with her boss, that she was able to talk to someone about Natori-san and their relationship! I can understand that she wants to keep things private, but I am happy that someone found out and that she can confide in him. I loved how he answered at times, which makes me wonder about him and his life (extra bonus story please).

Wasn’t too happy with Ichise for a part of the book, I mean, you had your chances girl. No need to call him cruel. But thankfully, she does get better later on. I was worried I would be frustrated with her all volume.

That poor guy in the last bonus chapter tough, OUCH. He is going to be heartbroken.

All in all, I loved this one and I just couldn’t stop reading it. I am so happy I got more volumes because otherwise I would just be too sad. This series is way too fun.

Wow. I am blown away with how maturely and compassionately Ichise's feelings for Natori was handled. Seriously, I am so stunned that that whole situation was handled with care, clear communication, and maturity. I'm sure some people will say that this isn't a realistic ending, but guess what? I DON'T FUCKING CARE. I would easily rather watch two mature women talk things out and come away with an amicable friendship (as well as an amicable friendship between Natori and Ichise) than the stereotypical girl-hating for the sake of drama and "realism". Yamada, you have my undying love and respect for the way this ended, thank you!

Speaking of Natori and Asako, their relationship continues to be healthy, adorable, and free of miscommunication bullshit, which is the highest compliment I can offer. I love how open Natori is about what he wants in their relationship and how he treats Asako's feelings with respect and care. I love how Asako is taking small steps to be more assertive in their relationship and trying new things. Their relationship is so super awesome and I adore it!

Oh, and Chief Okura continues to be the best man EVER and I adore him. Please give him more screen time, Yamada, I'm begging you! And Ichise is also delightfully wonderful and I love her too! So many great side characters, I could just burst with joy!

Enough ranting, let's get to the point. This was another great volume that is showing that adults not only can have healthy, happy relationships with open communication, but you can have two women who love(d) the same man settle their differences and have a happy, healthy friendship. FOR FUCK'S SAKE ROMANCE WRITERS, TAKE EXAMPLES FROM THIS SERIES AND GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER!!!
