A friend introduced me to this manga and I usually agree with her opinions on books I thought I would check it out. The budding romance between the two main characters is pretty cute but lack of an actual plot and the fact that we all know they will be together in the end doesn't make this series all that appealing to me. Cute story and good moral though!

This is a really cute slice of life/romance manga!! The two main characters are introduced, Risa who struggles with being tall for her age, and Otani who struggles with being short for his age. Their main issue in this volume is with romance, it's hard for them to find partners because of their height. This struggle is what brings them together and pushes them to help each other with their love lives!
Personally, the art style really threw me off and it wasn't the most appealing, specifically because of the lips and hair. However, as I read it grew on me, and the manga did have a couple nice panels!! I really enjoy how well paced the story is. The first chapter was a bit fast but other than that it wasn't too slow to be boring or too fast that would seem unrealistic. That's another part of the manga I appreciate, how realistic the characters are and their relationship progressions!

This series is super nostalgic to me - even though this is the first time I've read the manga - because I watched the live action movie and the anime years ago. I'm really happy to see that the manga is just as good. <3
