The main character is so empowering! A great role model for women; being independant is good. Being true to yourself and doing what is right for YOU is what's important. Plus, the characters are hilariously funny and the plot is unlike anything I've been exposed to. Nakamura is a talented mangaka!

After watching the anime, I knew i had to read the manga. I just love how this manga, this story is so different from other shojo mangas out there. The plot in itself is really interesting, the characters are so entertaining, and I just love how the romance in this series plays a less significant part than it usually does in other mangas of the same genre.
The manga revolves around this girl named kyoko Mogami who has left everything she had to follow her childhood friend and crush, so he could pursue his dreams of becoming an idol. So she did everything for him, she worked two jobs, maintained a luxury apartment in Tokyo, and adored the very ground he walked upon. Only to find out that he didn’t care for her and that he used her as a housekeeper, as a slave. Upon discovering this, kyoko vowed to take revenge, but in order for her to take her revenge she would have to Join showbiz. From there on out Kyoko sets on a journey to become a celebrity and take revenge for herself.
The only problem I seemed to have had with this volume, was that because this is the first volume you don’t get to really know the characters. Also, I found that the layout of the pages were overcrowded and filled, which made for a difficult read. Other than that I absolutely love this!!!!

Huvitaval kombel oli natuke kummaline naasta selle teismeea-lemmiku juurde. Animena meeldib see lugu mulle natuke rohkem, aga hea oli jälle tuttavate tegelaste juurde naasta.

I LOVE how the outrage is expressed in the manga. What a beautiful premise as well.
