Japanese reading: There was so much handwritten text that I mostly relied on my memory of the plot just to keep track of where I was in the story. That's not to say that I didn't understand any of the kanji just from reading, though. However, this is a series that I would have to re-read later when my reading comprehension improves.

This manga is quite interesting and funny at times. I have also watched the anime for this and loved it when I was younger.

The main character's driving purpose was to get her revenge which I know seems naive, but I love to see her character development later in the series and her path to success in terms of how she sees and values herself, as well as her career instead of just beating Sho.

There are some characters that may be understandably frustrating or that likable, but I would still consider them to be interesting and necessary to the manga. They work well together for this type of series.

I really enjoyed reading this manga. It is a fun and light read if you are not looking too deeply into it!

A fluffy shojo manga about a girl whose best friend/ boyfriend becomes a rock star and then leaves her behind. To retaliate she decides to also become a star. Only in manga can these things happen! It's cutesy and fun and a million times better than Kaikan Phrase, which also has a rock star theme.

I remember reading this when it first came out and just being completely bored by it. It's amazing how time changes you because picking it up after all this time and I enjoyed it now. The reasons I didn't like it back then were the art style, the main character, and the romance wasn't center stage. It's a slower manga, and the art style isn't as nice as other shojos(it's not bad just distinctive and it improves so much if the later volume covers are anything to go by). I hope it will pay off big.

I was right when I first saw Ren Tsuruga on tv. I was like, "Heck yeah, this guy IS the main character." I turned out to be right. They just have this weird main character glow going on, you know what I'm saying?
