Basketball fans and non basketball fans will love this book. I thought I knew a lot about Giannis before reading this book, but I was definitely wrong. Mirin Fader does an amazing job explaining who Giannis is on a very deep level from his thought processes to his quirky habits. She is an incredible writer and kept me hooked the entire time I was reading the story. I have a much deeper appreciation for his family, the values that they hold, and the game of basketball. This is a story I will definitely come back to.

Tremendously inspiring story of family, dreams and goals, humility, and the drive to make it to the top and stay close to what matters in life
It's interesting; I think Fader interviewed everyone but Giannis for this book. I learned a lot about Greece and not in a good way. Not having birthright citizenship is horrible and punishes the wrong people. Giannis' story truly is improbable. As for the writing, there were times where it was hard to follow and the details were tedious. However, it was a fascinating read; I will be recommending this.
An awesome book about so much more than one MVP! Fader peels back the layers of Giannis and his family's upbringing in Greece, his incredible rise to NBA stardom, and how his family was a part of every aspect of the journey. Any hoops head should read this, as should anyone looking for an inspirational book.
