It might just be me BUT I absolutely love the made-up language- I think it is pretty creative. I love every single character, and the quotes hit hard for me. This is my favorite book ever right now. A great "slowburn"

Pretty good for recent Stephen King, but not my favorite.
I may have cried three times. But the ending got me like a child who was lost in the middle of nowhere, I cried so hard. Scott's childhood was a nightmare. I could not imagine a little boy going through that kind of life. It was cruel and a tearjerker. Their love was amazing and unconditional. It touches my heart.
And Scott's letter to Lisey at the end, ahh, it hit me so hard, I started bawling my eyes out. Stephen King has a lot of sentimental and moving books, this is one of them. I'm kind of confused why some considered this as a boring story. Anyway, to each his own.
