Goodness, what a stunning book!! Honestly, it had been a while since I read the description of this book when I put it on my TBR, and I'm really glad I went in without any prior knowledge. Set in a fictional land akin to Ancient Greece, this book blends magic and fantasy with mythology in the best way. Themes of sisterhood and courage round out this story really well.

I loved the Ancient Greece vibes and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. I was caught off guard by some of the turns which I liked. I enjoyed the family dynamics, too.

This was better than I expected! At first I found it difficult to jive with the cadence of the characters’ dialogue. But I loved their journeys and the romance! I enjoyed the world a lot, again another part I wasn’t sure about.
