i wavered between 3 and 4 on this one, it was a fine way to pass the time but i don’t think riley sager’s style is for me. not a bad read by any means even if its predictability undermines its interest at times

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. (I listened rather than read). I cannot stress enough how important it is to have the perfect "voice" for an audio book. So many miss the mark. But the reader for this one was perfect. I loved the suspense. It didn't so much keep me guessing, but more so eager to see where this was going. I was never bored or disappointed while listening.
I like Sager but this book was miserably slow and repetitive, to the point to where I can’t believe I stuck it out through the end
