I have loved seeing these characters grow and learn (or unlearn) and watching as plots unfold.

Won’t go too far into this book because it’s #3 but I am dying to move on to #4 right now.

I love this series so much! Age of war just made it clear for me. I took a break in between AOS and AOW. The moment I picked this book up it felt like saying hi to friends that I was unaware I had missed dearly! If you want to read an amazing series with a great storyline, great writing, amazing characters and world building, that isn’t convoluted. Pick this series up! Also that ending left me unwell. Thanks MJS!

Second time through and I love this book even more! His character development is amazing. And of course I love the world building.

Michael J Sullivan definitely has high stakes in these books. No one is safe. I am mad that he keeps killing characters when I get to know them, but I appreciate the fact that it does keep the suspense high. The premise of this series is so interesting and I love that we are watching a group discover things.

Man, I hate how quickly I read through Sullivan’s books. I’m devastated when they are over because I am so emotionally involved in the story and characters! Age of War is yet another fantastic tale in Elan, and is full of twists and heartbreak as usual.

I can’t get enough of this series (along with the Riyria series), and anxiously await the next book. These are books I will read again and again, they bring me that much joy.
