[2020] Wonderfully unexpected! Not old fashioned at all, as for some reason I was expecting, but very, very modern. Could just as easily be called The Secret Lives of Ladies. Audiobook narrator, Janina Edwards, is perfection.

Shoutout to How to make love to a physicist and Dear Sister, best in the collection.

Really enjoyed the different characters and styles across the short stories, made for a great read and the LGBTQ representation was excellently nuanced and complex. Will definitely be looking out for more from Deesha Philyaw!
