Picked this book for the murder mystery element. The crime itself was never explained, the heroine didn’t even know she was in danger until the last 10 pages of the book, and the killer had zero motive to kill. Character dialogues were corny and many scenes were described so poorly, it was hard to picture what was going on. Even the BDSM was ruined by the fact that the cuckold/three way involved a coworker she considered like a brother. Gross and unrealistic. Don’t read this author again.

Cute brain fluff. I enjoyed the characters and I'm actually looking forward to hear more about some of the background characters

I've read a few erotic romances before, but this was definitely one of the best. likeable characters, emotion that seems genuine, no irritating innocent virgins and damaged powerful men, just seemingly ordinary people that it's easy to care about. oh and the s3x was great too :)
I was genuinely surprised at how much I liked it. I used to love chick lit, and this is like a really good version of that with some super hot sex thrown in :)

Loved the first and second part. !

Disappointed

At first.... I was drawn to Faith and Gray; but then about half way through the book it started to go downhill. 2 stars is being nice! I couldn’t even finish the book

This book was so mediocre that I had to create a new group for it on my reading app. It's a perfectly fine book, with a perfectly fine romance, and perfectly fine sex scenes. But I just could not get into it. I think that I am not the target audience for this book. It definitely feels like middle aged conservative women are the target audience and the author really writes in that voice without being overt. This book does lead into a series that I will not be diving into. So if that sounds like your thing then for sure read it. It wasn't a slog to get through or anything but it was just not aimed at me and that's okay!
