Didn't really care for this. Dialogue felt off and the characters made ridiculous decisions. A case of where no one shares important information with each other until after bad things start happening. Frustrating.

4.5 stars rounded down only because the writing style was not my favorite but the story itself pulled me in from the very beginning and did not let me go till the end. This book creeped me out from time to time. The descriptions of possession and demonic incidents were intense but written like I was there and could picture it perfectly…. Even if I didn’t want to picture it at all. Perfect October and spooky season read for sure! Will absolutely read the second book in series!
