The Exorcist's House throws you right into the nightmare of a family that moves into a remote home, only to find out it's got a spooky history with a side of possession! Now, I don’t usually dive into horror, but the title of this book grabbed me—and I’ll admit, I couldn’t resist after reading late Fr. Gabriele Amorth's exorcism books. Here’s why this one’s worth the chills:

A very easy read with common exorcism tropes depicted in visceral and new ways.
The Exorcist's House centers on a family who moves onto a farm once owned by an exorcist. They eventually learn about the house's history and the evil that lives within it.
This was a fun read with great visceral gore and violence. This is a well-written, fast paced horror novel that had some really creepy moments.

A very typical horror book, that has some spectacular moments and scenes.
The Exorcist House follows some very familiar ground for horror fans. The new family moves into a spooky house, with a dark past. Stuff starts to happen. It culminated in big showdown.
Overall, I think fans of horror will enjoy this book, but not be blown away by it. It's fun, but not necessarily treading any new ground.
I will definitely check out some other books by Roberts, as it had enough to want me to read more of his work.

Reading this book was like watching a 90’s Horror movie whilst stuffing my face with popcorn.
The Hill family decides to start fresh and move away from the big city to this farm house in the countryside.
What’s the worse that could happen? That the previous owner was an exorcist? Finding a locked basement? Maybe mingling with demons?
You know what comes next… Possession sprinkled with some gore.
This is the typical haunted house story, where people don’t make the best choices.
(I almost shouted at the book because of it! Daniel, I’m talking to you!!!)
… and funny enough, the character I was more suspicious about, was the one that I ended up liking the most.
Even though I wish it was a bit more darker and gorier, I really like when books are fast paced and action packed and this one was a wild and fun ride that didn’t disappoint.
I guess now it’s time to read the sequel.
