It was a 4-star and then the last three sentences of the last chapter (not including the epilogue) instantly boosted this to a 5-star! That’s all I have to say.. Now on to book 3 and then the month or so wait for book 4.

Its decent, its like a more fully encompassing fantasy using a heavy mix of Eragon and Lord of the rings. The problem for me was too many characters I just didn't care enough about and by the third book which is 40+ hours via audio I just couldnt keep pushing.
