This book takes what was started in Of Blood and Fire and explodes into a whole new level of story telling. The story is rich and fast paced and you will not want to put it down. The added POV characters in this book are wonderful additions. You will quickly fall in love with them. If you liked Of Blood and Fire, you will LOVE this book. If you like epic fantasy I would highly recommend this series! I do not think you will be disappointed.

this was everything to me. took me so long to finish because i was savoring this story for as long as i could. easily a 5 star, i’m attached to all the main characters so hard it’s bad
Of Darkness and Light, Book 2 of The Bound and the Broken, is a tremendous step forward. In every has this book improved over its predecessor. What's good, continues to stay excellent, the action, characters, and the "Classic Fantasy Feel." With issues I didn't have improving significantly again. Going to new and unique locales, expanded PoV's (from 2 to 5), and faster and more coherent pacing.
Ryan Cahill might be the one of the most and fastest improving authors, and Of War and Ruin is jumping up the the top of my list.
