This was a five star read for me. Truly incredible. Fans of Game of Thrones will love this series.
Exceeded Expectations in the Best Way
Soars above the first. Phenomenal character building and great storytelling. The POVs are not just insights into the characters but weaves stories happening across the continent masterfully. The pace is much faster than the first and the action is done so well!
I heavily recommend the audiobook as a companion to this. It’s super immersive.

I have read both of the books of "The bound and the broken" very quickly.
The way you bond with the characters is out of this world, loving the series. I'm going straight to book 3.

I enjoyed this book so much. I really became so invested in all of the moving parts and many many many POVS. It was hard to keep up with all of the names at times with my adhd brain, but I felt genuinely interested and curious about all the characters. Calen definitely became a more well rounded character as the story progresses and I appreciate that he had some inner struggles with containing his rage and hate. It gave a good contrast to him constantly trying to do whats right. So many loose ends that I cant wait to see how it all comes together.
Also yooo Farda crushing on Ella??? LMAO I was eating their chapters up. Im curious to see if they encounter each other again. No matter what happens its gonna be heart wrenching.
