I had some issues with the writing of this novel. Not my favorite of Belles but still, she stands as a 'must read' for me.

Kept me at the edge of my seat through the whole book! Kimberly Belle is great at weaving stories, and this one is no exception. I appreciated the insight into an influencers life, it’s not one I’ve seen written about before and I really liked the spin she put on it. Great book! Would recommend if you like thrillers and suspense!

Mommy Blogger and Influencer Alex has her life turned upside down, when she awakes one morning after a drunken night celebrating reaching 1 Millions followers. It would appear in her drunken state that Alex posted to Instagram, voicing her true feelings about a young up and coming starlet. By the time Alex even realizes what she has done the post has gone viral and it’s time for damage control to try and minimize the fall out, and avoid being cancelled.

In the midst of the chaos Alex quickly realizes, AC, her trusty personal assistant is MIA. She hasn’t seen her since the night before, and the longer she is absent from the situation the more obvious it becomes that AC may be behind the whole thing. When things begin to escalate, and more sinister events happen, Alex is desperate to track down AC to beg her to stop, but also work out why she is doing this.

This was an interesting read, I enjoyed the suspense of waiting to see what would happen next. Told through multiple POVs it was great to have insight to the different characters, and see what was driving them to make the decisions that they made. On the lighter side for a psychological thriller, it was a fast paced easy read. This was the first book I’ve read by the author, and I look forward to reading more. I definitely recommend to those who enjoy domestic and psychological thrillers.

Didn’t care about the characters at all or what happened to any of them. Don’t read this book if you’re under 30, it’s cringey. Why is the stepdad talking about his 12 year old step daughters boobs and WHY do they talk so much about bodies and slutshaming.
