Kingdom Soul is a great sequel to Kingdom Cold. Some time has definitely passed and the settings are different, but the still living characters are back for more adventures. Morgana is probably my favorite character in this one - she is precious. There is a huge twist at the end that I definitely didn’t expect. I can’t wait to read the next one!

Another amazing book by Brittni - I can't wait for the finally book in the trilogy.
This book has more King Arthur, more Merlin and more legend than the last. This book becomes more of a retelling of King Arthur and I loved it.
The story is a few years after the first and we now get to meet Princess Charlotte's little girl Morgana.
So much happens in this book, there upset still over Mineseo's death. There is the whole being in hiding thing and much more. But I won't say too much as I don't want to spoil it.
If you loved the first book you will love this one. With an ending like this one. No wonder I couldn't wait for the next.

I remember being really moved about the ending of Kingdom Cold, the first book in this series. I was also quite happy that the book seemed a standalone. So I wasn't sure how to feel when I saw this book. I did really like the first book, it was a 5-star book for me, but I also remember me saying that I was glad that the book was a standalone because it made the book stand out amongst all the series. I did want to try this book, mainly because I liked the first book so much.

Seeing the Goodreads score for this book, a lot of readers are happy that this is a series. I think I'm one of the few that was a bit disappointed maybe, because I liked the first book so much as a standalone. The book did win me over though, with the final 20% of this book. I was so shocked by the ending and it didn't even cross my mind EVER what happened there...

I enjoyed this book even more than the first one in the series! I was pleased that we got to see more of Minseo! There are plenty of twists and turns throughout and I didn’t want to put it down! I also really liked the twist on King Arthur and Camelot! Again, I highly recommend this book!

This book was amazing!! I would give it 10 stars if I could! I was completely sucked into this world from book one! This author is easily becoming one of my favorites! Her attention to detail is superb!

Kingdom Soul was such a fast paced read, I finished it in one day just like the first book. I really liked the story and the characters. There was this epic plot twist at the end of the book and now I cannot wait to read the next book!
I really liked the characters in this book. Charlotte’s changed so much, she’s not a teenager any more but a widow and a mum. I also really liked Morgana, Charlotte’s child, and Merlin. I really liked that Merlin is a female character instead of a male one. I cannot wait to learn more about Morgana and Merlin!
Kingdom Soul was an amazing sequel and I look forward to reading the third book in the series!

I am giving this 4.5 stars! I love this! We get to be introduced to new characters, expanded world and magic! I deducted 0.5 because the first part seemed very slow for me and full of internal struggles. If the slow narration also irritates you, I suggest pushing through because the ending is super worth it!

3.5 stars ; have you ever read a book and thought, if this part was tweaked a small bit, it would have been so much better? that's exactly what happened to me with the first book in the series, and i was hoping for some more character development, as well as a retelling of the arthurian legend - which was what i got in kingdom soul. :D
