This is a reread of a childhood favorite and it definitely still deserves the title. Absolutely loved this one, and still do. It has a lovely balance of serious subject matter and fluff.

I did forget how much Tohru pretending she's fine drove the narrative early on; I hope that's something we work on and isn't considered a relatively valuable trait forever.

The art style is definitely of its time haha, the sharp chin look especially.
