The Humans

A wonderfully written book, with thought provoking truths expressed in an objective (to humanity) manner. It was a fantastic read, easy and one to make you feel small again, in the grand scheme of the universe. I really enjoyed reading this book.

3.5! Read for book club. Glad I gave this author another chance

okay at the start I really didn't like the narrator but by the end I was so on his side, I really really wanted him to succeed and be happy with his family...

this took me super long to read because I was just kind of. sad and aimless and lost within myself I feel but I think it's good I got the impulse to finish this. because it really turned itself around. But this really is the kind of book where you have to "get through" the beginning in order to earn the middle and end of it.

A quirky positive philosophical story about the meaning of existence and experience in the world as told by an imaging allowed in disguise as a human who was not a nice person and the alien has markidly improved his relationships and actions in the world initially accidentally. It's odd but rather positive and uplifting in a bizarre way
