I hate this series. I hate it even more as I liked it as a teenager when I had no idea about anything in life. This whole series has so many things I hate: glorifying a relationship where ‘oh, I’m straight but I love you as an exception’ , rape treated without any gravity to it (pun not intended), someone having been abused as a child for the sake of tragic backstory, a relationship that is the epitome of horrid and toxic. I was legitimately convinced that the taller one hated the shorter one… And can I mention too how much I hate the ‘one is the girl’ garbage that all BL seems to do? It’s offensive for a lot of reasons. Not the least of which acting as though that makes someone the submissive one in a relationship. So, yeah. Hate this. A lot. And I blame this for a lot of the tropes becoming popular in genre, so there’s that too

The pacing of this is weird and the ‘relationship’ so far is… something. I’m not sure why anyone is doing what they’re doing.

Added this to my shelf in 2016, wanting to explore Manga. Never felt tempted to actually read it whenever I picked it up. I finally made a serious attempt and read the first part of four. Too much highschool teenage angst. Aimed at Older Teens Age 16+ apparently is not my thing.

While I don't know if I loved this series enough to BUY it, I know I'd probably stalk one of my friends to lend it to me again.

I did love this series, as much as one can love a twisted romance, crazy humorous, insane idea of drama and adorable hot male characters all in one book, you know?

I'm on a bit of a nostalgia kick lately and re-reading the manga of my teenage years. I used to love this one. Now, I'm old enough to see how fricking problematic this relationship is. Also, the pacing is just super weird. The art is pretty beautiful, though.

I like the character development in this manga. Shuichi Shindo has endeared himself into my heart. So honest and up front. It seems he has also wrapped the novelist Yuki around his finger. Yuki is such a good bad boy. He is fun! The pacing is very good. I feel that the author is calmly creating this world for us.

I actually really liked how different it was from the anime (which I first saw about 10 years ago). It was like reading a completely different story. However, the translation didn't seem very good, which is why I'm subtracting a star.
