WHOA! Did not expect that ending. I always thought thought the whole book that it was either Kenneth Marshall or Linda. Never in my whole life did I expect it to be Patrick and Christine. My jaw literally dropped. I was so sad when I learned that Christine partook in the act. I loved her character. Still shook.

Good, standard Poirot fare. Poirot embarks on a vacation to the coast of Devon, only to discover a murder. I definitely did not predict the twist- even though Poirot pointed out that it was the most obvious explanation. I think it’s a story of how our mind jumps easily to who the victim is- and how sometimes victimized people don’t look so on the outside.
