This one started a little slow but ended unexpectedly! And the little hint of romance toward the end was so sweet and simple, it tugged at my hopeless romantic heartstrings.

Mind-boggling

I initially picked this book as I thought it was set in Egypt, it's actually set in Devon - not much difference.

Having seen a tv adaptation I could remember who the victim was but no who committed the murder or why.
A quick undemanding read that reinforces my belief that if you ever find yourself in the same place as Poirot then you should leave as quickly as possible.

Agatha Christie è l'autrice che non mi stanco mai di leggere. Nonostante io abbia letto quasi tutti i suoi libri, ogni volta riesce a sorprendermi.

My first Agatha Christie book. Loved it! A quick read and very engaging. So many places where I just burst out laughing and the twist got me SHOOKETH! Also, I liked that Piorot isn’t some aloof sociopathic genius detective and he also has a lot of emotional intelligence that he utilizes both when he’s on the job and just going about his day talking to people. Really refreshing to read.
