Cute, but sort of meh?!

The story consists of many different POVs, told by apartments. Each person/couple in those apartments has a relationship dilemma they struggle with, all while being under strict Covid lockdown for seven days.

For the majority of the book, I thought there were too many stories for me to easily keep up and I kept ending up annoyed because I didn't really know who's who

It’s a decent, enjoyable, cutesy read but not one I felt particularly invested in nor would I read again. Definitely very sweet though!

It might be my introversion talking, but this made me so nostalgic for the early pandemic…don’t tell my boss I adored being stuck at home for 6 wks.

A story about love and life during a mandatory 'lockdown'. All the residents of London Lane are notified that they are required to undergo a 7-day quarantine. We get to follow along for the wild ride. This book has a little bit of everything - new love, one night stands, breakups, makeups, and friendships tested.

genuinely would not have guessed that the author was actually british. i don't have anything noteworthy to say except i much prefer the american puttering to british pottering. though i think i'd be pretty fucking annoyed either way since the author couldn't think of any other verb to describe what these characters were doing in their apartments during lockdown.

this actually wasn't that bad except that it didn't need to exist.
