Pretty good! This crime in this installment involves the detective, Strike, and his partner Robin more directly, and we learn quite a bit more about their personal lives. I enjoyed it.
4.5 stars. Thought about this book all day long when I wasn’t reading it.
A great addition to the Comoran Strike series. Looking forward to reading more.

Ohmagoshhhhh.... I am a sucker for mysteries and good writing! This book does NOT disappoint! In my eyes, JK can do no wrong. I loved the first two Cormoran books but this one BLEW THEM OUT OF THE WATER. The 489 pages would usually take me weeks to get through but I couldn't put it down. With the exception of sleep, life and taking care of my family, I read any chance I could.

It is getting to the point that I don't know which series I actually like better . . . another fantastic, well written, wry, intelligent mystery.
