Segundo livro do meu projeto Lendo Agatha Christie.

What a fun little romp! Tommy and Tuppence are a delight. The mystery wasn't too hard to figure out, but that didn't matter. The banter and light romance was worth it.

More like a 3.5 for me, since I enjoyed this one! I haven't read a lot of Agatha Christie novels, but it was fun to see an adventure/mystery story rather than a locked room mystery. The book was definietely helped by the main characters though. Tommy and Tuppence were just fun to read and made me chuckle out loud more than a few times.

The plot itself was fine, I had no major issues with it, but it wasn't the best or memoriable I've ever read. The mystery/twist was one of the more easily guessed ones IMO from what I've experienced of Christie, but I think the characterazation of Tommy and Tuppence make this a worthwhile read.

I did guess the villain, but it was still a fun rollicking adventure. I think Tommy and Tuppence are my favorite serial characters to flow from Ms. Christie's pen. They are old friends who met up again in the aftermath of WWI. They then fall head over heels into intrigue and adventure. B.J. Harrison's narration was spot on.

I highly recommend this tale.

I've never read Tommy and Tuppence before and as a Poirot fan, I was a bit underwhelmed. The characters were too much romantic caricatures, and the fanciful romance bits were just bleh.
