In a picky mood so take this with a grain of salt. Interesting premise but it felt too shallow / black-and-white. The villains are irredeemably evil and the heroes oh so good. For example of course the abusive mother is also super racist, even though it doesn't have anything to do with the plot. Might get better later but as I said, I'm picky rn.

Not a fan of the writing style, nor any of the characters. I was not invested in any of them. It had potential.
