It's hard to rate a book that is based on such a horrific experience.
Should there be similar regulations for children who are forced to perform for social media content as there are for child stars? So much insight into the survival mechanisms these kids had to develop in order to protect themselves from their own mother. It’s a terrible story that I hope can help other victims as well as help folks be more aware of the abuse of children that happens everyday in this country so they can speak up and report it.

I'm glad that she finally came to terms with the fact that her dad was also a part of the problem. In the beginning, she kept saying that he was just a nice guy, as if that were an excuse for allowing his wife to be cruel to his children. Hell, I think he should have been convicted as well.
All in all, this was a good listen. I just wish there were a little more detail toward the end, but I respect the fact that she was trying to keep the youngest kids under wraps. I finally broke down and looked up the arrest video and interviews for more context. Going into this with zero knowledge of the family and what happened made it a wild ride for sure, but it forced some research.
