This graphic novel was amazing! It really made The Giver come alive with its drawings. Highly recommended as someones first try at Graphic Novels.
This is one of my favorite books of all time. I didn’t think how beautiful it would be to see it in a graphic novel until I finally opened this books I bought back in 2019. The artist hit this one out of the ballpark. Spectacular

It's been quite a few years since I've read The Giver, albeit I have watched the movie a few times since my first reading and i will say that the graphic novel was pretty enjoyable. There wasn't anything new in terms of story but I did think, based on what I remember of the book, that the author did a pretty good job with keeping most of the important parts in their rendition. Since this was a pretty quick read I don't have too much to say but I do recommend this one for fans of The Giver if you aren't too keen on rereading the actual book.
The Giver is my favourite book so I was excited to read an adaptation of it. I really enjoyed the illustrations and thought the phasing in of colour throughout the book made it very visually interesting!
