This is a good book for a child who isn’t too keen on reading, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a child who is an advanced reader as it is much too simple.
i think this is great for kids imaginations
i would give it to my 6 year old if it was a little shorter (and without the kissing mermaid part)
its quirky.. imaginative.. entertaining... not as an adult lol but definitely good for ages 8-10

خیلی باهاش ارتباط برقرار نکردم که مجابم کنه بقیه جلدهاش رو بخونم (حداقل در این مدت) هر چند که بعضا تصویرسازی‌هاش دوست‌داشتنی بودن.
یکی از دوستام یه جلد از این مجموعه رو برای رنگ کردن گرفت و شاید در نگاه اول خیلی کار خوبی نباشه :))، ولی به‌نظرم رویه بهتری رو در پیش گرفته چون طراحی‌هاش جزییات دارن، ولی با داستان و روایت کتاب نبوده‌م تا به الان.

This was a fun and funny story. It was kinda wild and crazy but it was fun.
Grappig fantasierijk boek met eigenlijk niet echt een verhaal of plot. Het zijn allemaal gebeurtenissen die zo willekeurig zijn dat je respect krijgt voor de flauwe maar bizarre humor van de makers.

Fun for the kids. Chaos.
Redelijk hilarisch boek dat een beetje van de hak op de tak springt (pun intended), maar dat in al z'n chaos heerlijk wegleest. Ik kocht het uiteraard voor zoonlief, maar die heeft er momenteel nog even niet zoveel interesse in. Hij las wel al het hoofdstuk over Blaffy nadat ik hem liet weten dat dat mijn favoriete hoofdstuk was. Hij wist dat hoofdstuk toch al op prijs te stellen. Ha! It's a small win, but it's a win!
It's a fun book. I like how it teaches kids to think out of the box. The drawings are funny and entertaining to look at. However, I didn't like the big message of "leave all your things and procrastinate to the end of the world and you'll get it done eventually!", that was promoted by this book. I also didn't like that the book had several repeated pictures as if they were trying to reach a certain number of pages for their book. I know it was funny and I did laugh at these repeated pictures but I wouldn't be happy if I had a printed version with these repetitive pages. So, it was fun on digital and not suitable for printed version.
Anyhow, I will be reading the next book to see if they're still promoting bad behaviour or not.
