Al die grappige, absurde verhalen slaan aan bij onze 6-jarige
Easy, funny reading. Adam thought the illustrations were great.
i've read almost all the books from the 13-storey treehouse universe but didn't want to tag them all as read so here i am.

This book series is quite popular with my students, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. First, it’s silly. The characters are a bit ridiculous, but I suppose that is the appeal. It would be good for reluctant readers. The drawings and writing are entertaining, but it’s not an amazing read. I suppose that is power of the appeal for kids—it’s just silly fun.

I listened to this with my children on audiobook, they thought it was hilarious. Especially the ‘barky’ chapter, some good adult jokes as well that kids won’t notice but keep adults entertained.
I did have LOL at times just because it was so absurd and off beat and made me remember how much i used to enjoy similarly bonkers stories

Read this with my 1st and 3rd grader. They really found it hilarious. It was dog man silly, but nothing really inappropriate. Just super wacky creative with turning a cat into a catnary (cat turned canary) and sea monkeys becoming a villainous mermaid/sea monster, a flying super finger, a gorilla attacking them for a supersized banana, just all the crazy stuff from a wild imagination put into a story under the main mission of Andy and Terry (the author and illustrator) trying to write a book. Oh they also live in a 13 story treehouse of a kids dreams with no adults in sight. Except the mailman. lol.
They want to read more! A friendly transition from graphic novels bc it’s fully illustrated but written in novel/chapter format.

I didn't particularly like this book, but I'm sure boys in intermediate grades-especially reluctant readers-will enjoy. Similar to "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" and "Captain Underpants" in that there are mostly pictures with fewer words. The book is more like several short stories put together than a novel and seemed disjointed at times.
"Who wouldn't want to live in a treehouse? Especially a 13-storey treehouse that has a bowling alley, a see-through swimming pool, a tank full of sharks, a library full of comics, a secret underground laboratory, a games room, self-making beds, vines you can swing on, a vegetable vaporiser and a marshmallow machine that follows you around and automatically shoots your favourite flavoured marshmallows into your mouth whenever it discerns you're hungry. Two new characters – Andy and Terry – live here, make books together, and have a series of completely nutty adventures. Because: ANYTHING can happen in a 13-storey treehouse."

My son loved this book, he found it very funny and was engrossed in it - so scores highly! Cartoons throughout reinforce the story and make it less daunting. Fun book, and he enjoyed the 2nd one as well
I found this book to be overly silly and random. It goes too quickly from one strange event to another without much development. I had hoped for more about the actual treehouse, but the treehouse itself is not a focus. Having said that, many children will enjoy it for its silliness. It is not a difficult read and has some entertaining pictures. It was just ok for me.
