Honestly forgot about the twist in the end, loved reading this book again. I have to say though… maybe I was in a delirious sleep state when reading the last few chapters of this book but I did not like the flow of the ending. It seemed weirdly rushed and *SPOILERS* why was no one freaking out when the king got stabbed?? It seemed really anti climatic. I also kinda wish the ending wasn’t as similar to the previous book, but I digress. The plot was there, Dorian and Enden killed it. On to the next one!

I still love the world Hahn has built, but the first book in the series was more my style. The leading men are showing an disturbing tendency to be possessive (in a way that is straight up toxic, not romantic…). The world is interesting enough that I’ll keep going with the series but I really hope the relationship dynamics get healthier in the next book.

quick read

I enjoyed the fractured fairytale of Cinderella. Definitely a quick read and has twists to keep you guessing about the characters.

I originally liked the is tale after reading Of Beast and Beauty.

Of Glass and Glamour was a little less stellar for me. But I still read through

It was an interesting twist on the original fairytales. But as you go through the series they get darker in content and have no trigger warnings.

Things like kídnapping, forced d-rug use, gRape, seggs trafficking, mur-der.

This would be a great adult series with low spice but SHOULD NOT be marketed to kids (parental discretion folx) and HAS TO HAVE TW

I reached out to the author and her response was dismissive. “I’m a pastor and I counsel ppl” also noting that she as a survivor knows triggering content and hers wasn't triggering. Not all ppl have the same trauma and the same triggers. Chanda please do better in protecting your readers.
