This book kept me awake, well into the night. It was a light, fun thriller. I’ve enjoyed each of the authors books. I was booked from the start.

AUDIOBOOK: Between 3.5-4 ⭐️. If your a fan of the movie Memento, you may enjoy this book. Interesting thriller about a woman with memory loss. I feel like the author kinda gave up at the end, but it was an interesting ride. Found the “you must be listing your mind” trope a bit overdone. Still recommend though.
I previously enjoyed Megan Goldin's The Night Swim, so I was eager to explore more of her work. Unfortunately, Stay Awake didn’t quite resonate with me. While the premise held promise, the execution fell flat in my opinion. The plot felt overly drawn out, even though the book itself isn’t particularly long. Additionally, the mystery lacked the intrigue needed to fully hold my attention. It wasn’t a bad read by any means, just not the right fit for me.
