After reading some low rating reviews I wasn’t sure if I should read or return this audiobook and boy am I glad I ignored them and listened to it myself! Kept me listening and wanting more while trying to work out how it would end. The very end was a bit corny but the rest wasn’t.
On a side note, the narration lets this book down and is so very slow! I listened in 1.5x speed and it was like a normal conversation. The only issue was the differences between the two POVs were different speeds so the police pats were fast and the rest normal.

It's hard to rate this anything other than 5 stars since it's the book I was reading when I got engaged!
This book was a quick and entertaining read - I typically enjoy books with an unreliable narrator because it adds a level of complexity for my mystery solving brain. I also really enjoy it when there's multiple timelines and really liked the juxtaposition of the third person POV for the detectives with that of Liv's first person POV. However, I felt like this story had a lot of plot holes... Some of which are too big for me to suspend disbelief. All in all this was still a good read and I'd say I give it a 3.5 star. It definitely pulls you in and keeps you entertained just expect some plot holes and repetition.
