Reread (2/16/21): This book feels so cozy! I fell in love with Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky through the Netflix movie and the book is just as wonderful! Lara Jean is such a lovely character to root for and a great role model for teens. I absolutely love this book!

First Read: This is an absolutely charming book. I don't usually love YA contemporaries because they read a little cringey/cheesey to me now (I'm 22), but after seeing the Netflix movie I knew I needed to read this book. I'm so glad I did!

I really enjoyed the story and Lara Jean as a narrator. I loved her dad, I liked her sister, and I overall thought it was very charming, I can't stop smiling!

Oh my flipping god. This book is so good. I'm in love with Jenny Han's writing.

4.5 stars!

Absolutely loved this book. The characters are all so sweet and loving. I loved the bond between Lara Jean and Peter. I also really like how close the family was. Great story and I can’t wait to receive number 2 :) Couldn’t give it 5 stars because the writing looked/sounded a little young sometimes but other then that I loved the story and can’t wait to continue with it !

Worth neither the money nor the time!

Can I just say this book was absolutely amazing???!
I loved it! Maybe the beginning started off a bit slow, but by page 100 I couldn't stop reading. I liked how the chapters weren't really that long, it made it feel less long-winded and still clear.
Lara Jean is exactly me! She's kind of an introvert, but still she has these impulses which make her story very interesting and not predictable.
The story read pretty realistic. It wasn't at all cliché. The characters were well worked out, over all an incredible book. Though I accidentally read the last line it didn't spoil the entire book or made it uninteresting.
But the thing was, I kind of started to hate Margot, but not really as she was annoying, well she kind of was, but that was her personality and I know it fits well with the story, so that makes up for it.
Either way I can say Jenny Han did a pretty good job. Can't wait to see the movie.
In conclusion; I would totally recommend this book. I can't wait to read ps: I still love you.
Triology's are always way more fun.

this was so quick and easy and fun to read which is exactly what I needed right now
