I found the protagonist completely unlikable. Yeah, the bad guys killed his team and family, but the image of a Seal hunting down and using terrorist methods to kill them just didn't work for me.

I really enjoyed this. A fast pace thriller that grabs you and keeps you interested. The audio book is good, other than a gruff-voiced man also reading the voice of women characters. That's kind of funny.

Didn't really love it, felt like the characters were all very clearly "good" and "bad", in sort of cartoonish ways.

Lots of interesting little details about operators and their operations I guess, but while interesting didn't do enough to make up for the sort of one note "good guy kills bad guy, repeat".

Absurd plot. Plain characters. For 15 yo kids maybe it works.

Definitely problematic, but propulsive on audiobook
