I thoroughly enjoyed Shane and Diana's book.
They have a good chemistry, both incredibly funny!
It really takes a good partner to show you true happiness, if you're too rigid or trying too hard to please your partner, you know you are in the wrong relationship.

Why this took me five months to read after finishing the Graham Effect I’ll never know bc this was SO GOOD
Fake dating is one of my fave tropes and the organic progression of their relationship was so wholesome
Shane Lindley, the man that you are 🩷

I couldn't love this book more. Easily, my favorite of her books!
*warning: this book contains scenes of domestic abuse and death* these are not in the same situation.. 2 different story lines within this story.. but it still needed stated.
I think every girl in a college setting has had the uneasy feeling of that one person who just wouldn't get a clue and leave us alone when we say no. This book put a spotlight on that kind of situation. While yes, it was hard to read a few scenes and her ex really made my skin crawl, the picture of what was happening was painted perfectly and the whole ordeal was exactly as it should have 9the support, not the abuse.)
Shane and Diana are so perfect. They're fun, they're different, they go through hell and back together and its a wonderful read I couldn't put down.

Kennedy's work continues to move me, laughing, crying, yelling at the pages. Dixon and Shane have a genuine progression of a relationship, ups and downs but no dramatic out of character bs breakups.
I am again impressed with the way Kennedy handles serious topics in her novels - domestic violence and palliative care and death.
Would read again in the summer with a fruity drink.

I LOVEDDDDDD Diana and Shane?!?!?! Didn’t expect this book to make me cry 😭 love the enemies to lovers trope and so much depth to the storyline. The love and support was beautiful and banter TOP TIER of course!
ugh i just love elle kennedy. diana and shane were so perfect for each other and i loved their banter. the side plots of percy and shane’s family were great and very well-done in my opinion. i didn’t even mind that it was 500+ pages. loved it!!!! NEEEEEED a will/beck book now though.
