Great book for a creative or aspiring creative for help with jump-starting, crafting, and finishing their projects. Full of exercises to help you approach different problems and possibilities in both mental and physical manners.

The best book I've ever read on creativity and how to nurture and make the most of it in your own life.

I found this book inspiring and informative! Many of the included exercises were interesting and thought provoking. While much of the book is about her experience as a dancer/choreographer, she does a great job of translating her message to be applicable in other art forms.

I am not in a creative field, nr am I particularly creative in my personal time; however, I enjoyed reading about Tharp's process. She is truly a master at what she does and a lot can be said about her commitments to her habits (a la Gretchen Rubin).
