This was the closest I could get to taking stars away from other reviews. Almost DNF’d. Not finishing the series. Wasted 2 days of reading

ok why is this series so good??? like im obsessed actually <3 im giving this one a 4.5 but bc i had lots of fun with it im rounding up for goodreads :) i actually was shocked by how much i enjoyed this one bc there were some tropes that i usually don’t like but it worked in the context of the story and i applaud the authors for writing it well that it all made sense and seemed realistic/accurate to the characters. again can’t wait to read the next XD

Honestly unsure how to rate this. I loved Merry Little Meet Cute. The first half of this book—glorious. Hot. Daddy Santa? Yes please. Hope Channel After Dark intimacy rehearsals? Yes! Take down of purity culture and crappy ex husband? Here for it.

And then we get the accidental pregnancy trope and the books falls flat. There’s a miscarriage scare that had no heads up. Not a first for either trope for Sierra but this one felt jarring. And worries about whether Kallum being a good dad because he drunkenly goofed off and got injured? Felt like padding to reach word count rather than tell the best spicy, Christmas romance
