To say this book left me speechless is an understatement. Will be re-reading this many more times. Extremely thought provoking, sad, and bleak but I feel like it couldn’t go any other way no matter how much I wanted this story to end differently.

I was blown away by this book. It was so good at stripping away all life experiences and leaving us as what makes us human. I loved the reflective nature of it all. I loved how gentle the book flowed and left so much for your mind and heart to process. 
This is a book I can see being something that makes me feel and reflect in different ways each time I’ll go back to read it.

LOL @ ME for thinking I would just be able to put this book down midway through and continue about my day.

This was one of the most beautiful novels I’ve ever read and it’s been so long since I felt like I just read something that I definitely am going to read again. Just absolutely perfect in every way. You don’t necessarily read because of the anticipation of what is going to happen next, you read because you care about these women and are sitting there right alongside them in this barren, confusing wasteland.
