It was just such a pleasure reading this author's books. I enjoyed the first two books in this series and this one was no different. The beginning did throw me for a loop. I was definitely on board with the instant attraction and everything, but I did not expect the story to unfold the way it did and I'm glad, because it was the best surprise. Carla and Eamon firmly crept into my heart and stayed there until the end.

Lighthearted story that also broke my heart. Very spicy too, which is definitely not at all like her first book. I like the evolution and highly recommend this series!

Review to come, after I book my flight to Ireland
Rating: 4.5
This book was not what I was expecting at all. It made me laugh and cry. There was romance, but it dealt with feelings, relationships with parents, and adventure. I loved it.

No tu bol jeden obrovský problém.
Takže tak no. Dobrá nuda.

As far as I'm concerned Trish Doller can do no wrong!! I fell in love with Float Plan and then later The suite spot but Off the map was just as good with bonus cameos from Anna and Keane.
This book follows Anna's friend Carla as she travels to Ireland for Anna's wedding only to get sidetracked along the way with Keane's brother, Eamon who has always dreamed of adventures but never had the guts to take the leap.
Carla on the other hand lives to travel and helps Eamon find the courage to go after what he really wants. The chemistry between these two was undeniable with both sizzling open door scenes and sweet tender moments of connection.
In addition Carla is dealing with her father's declining health as he battles dementia and I thought the author did such a great job with that storyline!!
Perfect for fans of Abby Jimenez or Sarah Grunder Ruiz. Many thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for an early digital copy in exchange for my honest review!!

Constantly-in-motion Carla Black heads off to Ireland for her friends’ wedding. Stuck-in-one-place Eamon Sullivan, best man and brother of the groom, is supposed to pick up Carla in Dublin and take her straight to his hometown for the wedding. When the two feel an instant attraction and Eamon shares his secret wanderlust with Carla, they decide to take a detour or two first. They head off the map on their adventure, and what is supposed to be strictly a vacation fling goes off course as well.
If you’ve already read Float Plan or The Suite Spot, you’re well aware that Trish Doller isn’t one to shy away from heavy topics. Check content warnings if some things may be difficult or triggering for you. I did cry with this one.
Don’t be worried that this is too heavy, though, Doller offsets the weighty emotions with PLENTY of steam and some laugh-out-loud moments, too. (Hold on for the scenes with the bull, folks.) Plus, it’s fun to catch up with Anna, Keane, Mason, Rachel, Maisie, and Ingrid.
Join Carla and Eamon on their adventure. I think you’ll enjoy it.
I received an advance copy from St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley. All review opinions are my own.

I love Trish Dollers books and this series of characters. For me Float Plan is still my favorite, but this book was a fun quick read set mostly in Ireland. There are some deep topics like in all her other books, but overall this was a lovely story.
